We were recently commissioned to build an indoor bench for a couple’s mountain home in North Carolina. Below is a photo, from the clients, of the finished piece in its new home.

This bench features mortise and tenon connections and a clear finish coat. The wood was salvaged from a row home at 16th & Christian as well as a South Philadelphia row home. If you look carefully at one of the legs you can see the some of the nail holes from its previous life are retained.
